Success Stories
Small Steps to Big Dreams-The Success Stories!
The Journey began in 2022 with Hindu College bagging the grant under DBT Star College Scheme. Botany, Chemistry, Physics and Zoology Departments that are housed in different corners of the sprawling campus of Hindu College, came together to work as a team and then there was no looking back! These departments collaborate seamlessly, fostering interdisciplinary learning. Enhanced lab infrastructure, hands-on training, and workshops have empowered students with practical skills and research exposure. Regular field visits, industry interaction and student-led projects have sparked innovation and curiosity. Peer learning and faculty mentoring further nurture talent. Many students and faculty members have presented papers at national/international conferences and secured admissions at top research institutions. The scheme has not only boosted academic performance but also inspired many to pursue higher studies and careers in science, making Hindu College a hub of scientific excellence.
